The family office industry is one of the key business sectors the Hong Kong Government looks to develop, and the government has earlier introduced a list of measures to boost the development in this area.

In particular, the importance of legal expertise and support cannot be understated. Joining the committee, Alan will hope to contribute by commenting on the family office practice, engaging with governmental bodies and external entities, and advocating for representations and submissions.

Alan’s work will undoubtedly help shaping the landscape of Hong Kong’s family office operations, emphasizing compliance and best practices in this specialized field.
