Our Managing Partner, Alan Chiu, recently had the privilege of attending the prestigious 京師法學名家講壇 forum in Beijing. He was joined by Professor Liu Yi, the Executive Vice President of the Beijing Entertainment Law Society (北京市文化娛樂法學會) (“BELS”), in a session expertly moderated by Dean Liang Yingxiu, the Vice President of BELS.

During the forum, Alan delivered an insightful presentation on “香港娛樂法及相關法律實踐” where he introduced the fundamentals of Entertainment Law and explored its intersections with various legal areas such as IP, Contract, Privacy Law, and Defamation. His discussions, enriched with real-world case law examples, provided a wealth of information and inspiration.

Alan has also been appointed as the Consultant for the “Hong Kong Entertainment Law Course” at the Law School, Beijing Normal University (北京師範大學法學院《香港娯樂法》課程咨詢顧問). This appointment is a testament to his expertise and dedication in the field.
