We are proud to share that our Partner Simon Wong has recently been co-opted to the Arbitration Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong!

Arbitration is a vital way of resolving disputes outside of the courts, offering a faster, more flexible, and confidential process. In Hong Kong, arbitration is particularly important due to its strategic position as a global financial center. The city’s legal infrastructure, combined with its pool of skilled arbitrators and supportive legal environment, makes it an ideal location for resolving international commercial disputes.

As a Council Member, Simon will focus on advocating for arbitration within the business community and the solicitors’ profession. He will also be supporting the Council in shaping arbitration policies and helping members grow their arbitration practices. By collaborating with various arbitration organizations and promoting Hong Kong as a premier international arbitration center, Simon will contribute to making arbitration more accessible and widely recognized.
