We are so glad that we can finally get more face-to-face time as Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Licensing International invited Alan Chiu and his team members to do some legal sharing at their latest licensing workshop!
 
Following Tani Wong ’s introduction to licensing and Keren Cheung’s market insights, Alan Chiu discussed about the key legal considerations, risks and terms that one must pay attention to when negotiating a licensing agreement in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Towards the end, the speakers and attendees had a breakout session where the audience had the chance to approach the speakers to discuss more specific licensing issues and exchange contacts.
 
It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know more new joiners to the licensing industry and understand the particular difficulties that they are encountering at the early stage of their licensing business / careers.
