Earlier this week, our Managing Partner, Alan Chiu, and Partner, Charles To, were invited to an industry exchange event about “Cultural Themed Retail at M+” hosted by InvestHK at The M+ Shop, an extension of the M+ Museum which is dedicated to visual art, design, architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Alan and Charles had a fantastic time at the event, and particularly enjoyed the panel discussion, which featured Ms Kirstin Mearns, Head of Commerce and Visitor Services of M+, and Mr Douglas Azar, Asia Managing Director of PINTON 1867.

As IP plays a crucial part in the commercialization and protection of artworks, Alan and Charles were delighted to have the opportunity to share their legal insight with other stakeholders in the industry during the event.
