We are delighted to announce that James Choi has been promoted to Partner with effect from 15 September 2021.
 
James is an IP specialist with extensive experiences in handling IP enforcement, litigation and advisory matters. He was qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in 2013 and joined us as an Associate since Dec 2016. He has served world famous luxury brands, dual listed PRC tech giant, a HK unicorn, MNCs, Fortune 500 companies, and HK listed companies.
 
James is a Council Member of the Licensing Executives Society China, Hong Kong Sub-Chapter and an Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Automation Technology Council. He is currently doing an LLM in IP and IT Laws at the University of Hong Kong. He welcomed his first-born baby girl by end of 2020, but is still able to find time to play football, wakesurf and hike.
 
James was awarded “Rising Star” by Licensing International in 2021 and nominated as one of the finalists of “Young Lawyer of the year” at the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Award 2020.
