We are proud to share that Charles To, our Partner (Head of Corporate, Commercial and TMT Practice) has recently been invited by the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department to run a specialized course, titled “IP107 Special Session: Crypto, NFTs, Metaverse and IP” that is part of the “Intellectual Property Training Programme”.

The aim of this course is to introduce the role of intellectual property (IP) in cutting-edge technologies such as Crypto, NFTs, and the metaverse. It covers a comprehensive overview of these new technologies, their relationship with IP, potential legal considerations, strategies for protecting relevant IP rights, as well as the associated challenges and complexities. Charles delivered an engaging and enlightening lecture, showcasing his deep-rooted expertise and thought leadership in the dynamic world of Crypto, NFTs, and the Metaverse.
