Our Managing Partner, Alan Chiu, and our Associate, Nicola Kung, recently delivered a guest lecture on “IP Issues in the PRC Entertainment Industry” at City University of Hong Kong (“CityU”).

The session offered practical insights on entertainment law, including its connections to contract law, IP rights, and key provisions in the PRC Anti-Unfair Competition Law. From discussing case law examples on unfair competition to exploring AI implications on IP rights, the lecture was a fruitful exploration of legal nuances.
