Our Managing Partner Alan Chiu was invited alongside with the Hong Kong Law Society InnoTech Committee members Sebastian Ko (InnoTech Law Hub Working Group Chair) and Nick Chan (InnoTech Committee Vice Chairman) by the HKFYG Leadership Institute to give an online talk to students in the Moot Court Summer School on technology and law. Alan covered the practitioner’s use of legal technology and shared with the students our in-house developed A-CONNECT IP management system which provides an advanced cloud-based IP docketing system with user-friendly features and remote client portals. Nick provided a useful overview of public sector initiatives on Law X Technology (such as eBRAM and LawTech Fund) and Sebastian made an informative introduction to the mission and activities of the Law Society InnoTech Law Hub.

Students raised a lot of interesting questions and showed their passion in Law X Technology. We are honoured to give this talk and hope to meet and exchange ideas further with our future leaders.
