Last week, our Partner James Choi was invited to speak at an online conference – Kre8tif!, with Tani Wong (Licensing International), Tony Zhu (Vipo Global Limited) and Marilu Corpus (MDR Brand Management) on “Licensing into China: What you need to know”.

Kre8tif! was established in 2009 and now a well-recognized conference and business networking platform for the digital content industry in Malaysia and South East Asia.

It was a great opportunity to hear it from both the brands’ and the licensees’ perspective about the licensing landscape in China, where James was also able to give his two cents on the legal risks and issues in this practice area.
