ELLALAN is delighted to share with you that we have earned the Company Award under the Government’s 2018-20 Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services. The objectives of the Scheme are to commend legal professionals who provided pro bono legal services for the community and encourage more legal professionals to volunteer to provide more free legal services to the members of the public.

Our Managing Partner Alan Chiu and Partner Charles To were also recognised for their contribution of over 50 hours of Pro Bono Legal Services within two years from July 2018 to June 2020. 

Our dedication to pro bono work is a core aspect of our culture. We believe that not only should we fulfil our social responsibility as a lawyer, but that we all benefit when the legal system is accessible to the public. Our pro bono work is diverse and far-reaching. It includes work related to community development; legal education to the general public and various universities; free consultation to various government and non-profit organizations, etc.
