Our Managing Partner Alan Chiu and Associate Stephanie Yip were invited to conduct a guest lecture at the City University of Hong Kong on “E-Commerce in China – A Practitioner’s Perspective” for the University’s LLM/JD course “Selected Issues on Chinese IP Law”.

They touched on the legal perspective of online consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property protection and operating e-commerce platforms in China. They also shared their views on some recent IP enforcement cases in China concerning reputable brands.
