Our Partner Charles To and Senior Associate James Choi were invited by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries’ Hong Kong Automation Technology Council to speak on legal issues concerning artificial intelligence and related licensing issues. In particular, Charles and James provided a useful overview on how inventorship, ownership, transferability and infringement issues are affected by AI. They further supplemented with contractual terms people should be aware of when working with AI projects.
