ELLALAN is keen to support university graduates especially 2020 cohort who is facing the social, political and economic uncertainties caused by the social unrest and the COVID-19 outbreak.

Our Managing Partner @Alan Chiu and Trainee Solicitor @Tiffany Lam were recently invited by the Hong Kong Baptist University to give an online talk to students on legal considerations for start-ups. Alan and Tiffany covered a wide range of topics including different structures of business entities, essential business agreements, IP fundamental concepts, confidentiality, personal data and privacy issues and other practical compliance issues in specific industry sectors, and shared their insights as to how legal compliance would be helpful to attract investors.

The talk was well attended by hundreds of students and the response was overwhelming. We are honoured to give this talk and hope to meet and exchange ideas further with our next-generation entrepreneurs in the near future.
