Janice graduated from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law with Politics. She completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in the University of Hong Kong.

Prior to joining us, Janice was a Senior Associate in the IP & TMT Practice at Mayer Brown.  She also worked in the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department as a solicitor in the Trade Marks team.  Before specialising in IP, Janice was an Associate in an international law firm during which she acquired vast experience in corporate finance, listing rules compliance and general commercial matters, which gives her cross-discipline expertise and allows her to approach IP matters from a more commercial perspective.
