Tiffany’s practice focuses on IP prosecution matters, particularly on trade mark matters in Hong Kong and China. She also works closely with foreign agents in over 70 jurisdictions on trade mark and copyright prosecution matters.
Prior to joining ELLALAN, Tiffany worked in the IP team of the global law firm Mayer Brown and another established local IP firm where she gained substantial experience assisting in trade mark matters, from providing prosecution strategies and pre-filing advice, filing applications in Hong Kong and overseas jurisdictions, to advising on and handling office actions worldwide, and handling contentious matters including oppositions, invalidations, cancellations.
Tiffany has assisted various Hong Kong and multinational companies from a range of industries, including consumer, luxury, financial services, pharmaceutical, and entertainment.
Aside from IP prosecution matters, Tiffany also has extensive experience in handling IP enforcement matters and IP litigations. She assisted in handling the IP enforcement and litigation work for local brands, global leading luxury brand conglomerates, internationally famous jewellery brands, and Hong Kong copyright licensing bodies. Tiffany also has experience in handling domain name complaints, shadow company name disputes, conducting IP audit and IP related due diligence.
