China Attestation
Documents issued in Hong Kong, be they marriage certificates or corporate documents, must be attested before they become valid for use in China. This process, known as China attestation, is the certification of a document by a China Appointed Attesting Officer (“CAAO”).
Our Managing Partner, Mr. Alan Chiu is appointed by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China as a CAAO. Legally significant documents, acts, and matters can be attested and certified by our CAAO, thereby obtaining legal validity in Mainland China.
